CE nameplates for machinery and plants
We produce CE marking nameplates according to the requirements of Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE. Laser engraving on stainless steel or aluminium including: manufacturer name and address, year of manufacture, series or type designation, serial number, CE marking with notified body number where required. Vector files accepted in all standard formats.
Identification plates with serials and codes
Numeric, alphanumeric plates, with barcode or QR code for traceability of components, equipment and plants. Formats from a few millimetres up to large-format plates. What data must appear on a CE nameplate?
According to Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE, the CE nameplate must include: the manufacturer's full name and address, the series or type designation of the machine, the serial number if applicable, the year of manufacture, and the CE marking. In some cases the notified body number is also required. We produce nameplates based on the manufacturer's declaration of conformity or on a supplied file.
Can I order just one piece?

What materials do you engrave nameplates on?
We work primarily on stainless steel (AISI 304 and 316), anodised aluminium, brass, back-engraved white laminate and engineering plastics such as ABS and POM. For special or certified materials for specific sectors (medical, food-grade, ATEX), we are happy to test samples on request.
How should I send the file for the nameplate?
We accept vector files in AI, EPS, SVG and DXF format. If you don't have a vector file we can also work from high-resolution PDFs or text specifications. If you are unsure about the format or the result, we recommend sending a sample via the quote form: we assess feasibility free of charge.
